II.       Warming-up (Pre-reading):

A.      Brainstorm.

Why do people travel to another country? List some reasons

B.     Competition.

List some information or pictures of some places of interest, have the students find the right place according to the information.

C.    What do you know about…?

III.    Skimming and scanning.

A.     Ask students to skim the main passage and match the places to the photos.

B.     Ask students to read the questions and look for the answers in the main passage.

IV.   Text (While-reading):

Group discussion.

Each group should prepare an introduction to one of the places in the reading and prepare questions about the 3 places.

B.  Read the passage after the tape
